Prague - Vienna Greenways is a network of cycling trails, military and quiet roads connecting the two historical Central European cities. It was the first long distance cycle route in Czechia and first Greenway in Central Europe. On these trails signposted as cycle routes 11,41,32,48 and by its own logo, discover the local countryside, and its scenery, history, culture, and traditions. Whether by bike or on foot, you can discover historical towns and villages, visit romantic castles, old ruins, medieval monasteries, experience the atmosphere of old Jewish cemeteries, try your hand at traditional crafts in restored workshops, and do some wine-tasting of Moravian’s famous wines in the region’s centuries-old wine cellars. The route is almost 470 km long (368 km in Czechia) and you will need 7 days to cycle it while using certified cycle friendly businesses "Cyclists welcome".
